GRANTS GUIDE - Grants Money Made Easy!

It is surprising just how many young people don’t know what education grants are available or even where to begin to look for them. I have had two kids ask me this past week how do they get education grants. Would have thought this was all covered while
at school, but maybe they were not paying attention that day.

Anyway, I told them to go to the Dept of Education website first up and from there they would be able to ascertain what education grants were available that suited their circumstances. They had to start somewhere and this is where I tell all the kids to begin. After a couple of hours of genuine research they should have a fairly good idea as to what education grants are all about.

This also has the advantage of opening their eyes to all sorts of other possibilities which they may have never even thought about. At this age, most are still quite confused as to what they really want to do with the rest of their life. Many kids that I have helped through this process have begun searching for education grants with a certain career in mind, only to change it half way through the process.

Without education grants it would be an impossible situation for many of these students. There is no hope that they would be able to obtain funding from any other source. Fortunately the great majority are aware of the grant application process, but it still never ceases to amaze me of those that somehow have fallen through this net.
